An unbeatable location

One of the most characteristic districts of Barcelona is the Eixample, a large and central area, located to the north of Plaza Catalunya. It is characterised by its long and straight streets, distributed like a grid and is also home to several places of interest to visit in Barcelona. The Eixample district is divided into two areas, left and right, by one of the city's great avenues, Calle Balmes. The left Eixample, which was built a little later than the right, is now one of the busiest areas of the city. This district boasts great nightlife and a wide selection of restaurants, bars, and clubs. In addition, it is close to many museums of interest, such as the MNAC, the Joan Miró Foundation or the MACBA.
